I didn’t see any references to TV5Monde, http://www.tv5monde.org, although primarily a French language TV channel, it also has a lot of educational aspects, check out the “7 jours sur la planète” which has audiovisual exercises that change subject each week. Good for developing an ear for spoken french.

Unfortunately I cannot speak french but would have loved to be a fly on the wall at the recent world cup match when the French lost to the Bafana Bafana. I can just imagine the french language being blue in the dressing room.

I am learning french at the present time. I am particularly interested in french language dvds as I find this method of learning much easier.

This is very good, very informative. I am a French Blog too. I am from Paris but live in the States. My blog is in English. This is about my life in the States being from paris.

Hi,

Thanks for your refreshing review, (I prefer Rocket French – Rosetta Stone is waaay to expensive), most reviews always say that ‘Rosetta Stone is the best’ and I’m never convinced that the reviewer has actually used it!

But, to digress, I rather like langlearner.com, and I found another site
http://www.surfacelanguages.com which is similar. Except you can play around for free.

Back to French, I love it, even though I always struggle with those verbs
