My hope is to become comfortably fluent so I can move there and write for the public and raise a family. I love french cuisine and the french countryside and I want to speak the language so much. The opportunity to learn french means so much to me. I have been dreaming of it since I was little. Thank you. I long to learn French because it is the language of my ancestors and in mastering it I will more fully enter into the mystery and romance of all that is me and my family. Can you imagine - a South African connecting with his French linage? How wonderful. I long to master French, for in so doing many doors of opportunity and experience swing wide for me - after all, French is an international language. We meet french patients in the hospital, and we don't have a translator. Like it's not enough for them to suffer from certain disease, they have to suffer some more to explain to us. If I could speak perfect french, I'll learn how to communicate with them, and teach my colleagues the basic words to interact with french patients.
